Oscars 2023 Eligibility List – 301 Movies List –Â A total of 301 feature films were announced for the race by the Academy. The new Oscar list includes Indian films that can officially compete in various categories. A mention in this list does not guarantee that these films will go ahead to the final nominations. The Oscar nominations will be announced on January 24, 2023, and the awards ceremony will be held on March 12, 2023.
A total of 11 Indian films made it to the 95th Academy Awards, popularly called the Oscars, the eligibility list. From SS Rajamouli’s RRR to the latest release Kantara, four South Indian films have made it to the Oscar eligibility list released by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts on Tuesday.

What is Eligibility For Oscars Award?

Complete a minimum qualifying run of seven consecutive days in the same place. The running time of the films should be more than 40 minutes.
Some 9,623 eligible Academy voting members can start filling out their ballots from Thursday, and voting will end at 5 p.m. PT January 17.
