Saraswati Samman Winners List 1991-2022 | Saraswati Samman Award Winners – Saraswati Samman is an annual award for outstanding prose or poetry literary works in any Indian language listed in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution of India. It is named after an Indian goddess of education and is considered one of the highest literary awards of India. The award includes Rs 10 lakh, a citation and a plaque. The Saraswati Samman was established by the KK Birla Foundation in 1991. Candidates are selected from literary works published in the last ten years by a panel comprising scholars and former awardees.Saraswati Samman is an annual award for outstanding prose or poetry literacy works in any Indian language (22 languages) listed in Schedule VII of the Constitution of India.
