List of Presidents of Paraguay 2022 | Who Was First President of Paraguay – The President of Paraguay is officially known as the President of the Republic of Paraguay, according to the Constitution of Paraguay, the executive branch of the Government of Paraguay is both the head of state and the head of government. His honourable title is Sue Excelencia.
Under the 1992 Constitution, the President is limited to a five-year term. An attempt by the Senate on 1 April 2017 to end the term limit resulted in protests; It was eventually dismissed. The presidential seat is Palacio de los Lopez in Asuncian. The president’s residence is Muburuvicha Roga, which is also in Asuncian. Once the presidency leaves office, he is granted the senator’s speaking-but-non-voting status for life by paraguay’s constitution. The current president of Paraguay since August 15, 2018 is Mario Abdo Benitez.
