Members and volunteers of Great River Players have been very busy planning the Players Court for the past few months and moving forward with a number of other grant projects. But the show must keep going, so GRP is proud to announce the cast list for its upcoming production “Around the World in 80 Days”.
Adapted by Mark Brown and based on jules verne’s novel, this hilarious melodrama will surely please the whole family. Join the fearless adventurer Phyllis Fogg and his determined partner as they race to beat the clock! Phylles Fogg has agreed to an outrageous bet that puts her fate and her life at risk. With a resource-rich passpartout, Fog sets out to circle the world in 80 days of unheard of. But his every move is obstinacy by a detective who thinks he is an escaping robber.

The cast list includes many veterans of the GRP stage, as well as several newcomers. The cast is as follows:

Production :

- Production dates are Feb. 17, 18, and 24 at 7:30 p.m., and Feb. 19 and 25 at 2 p.m.
- Performances will take place at the Kantemneni Building, at 17 S. Sixth Street in Keokuk.
